Software for Package Manager

The package repository lets you install packages easily from within the OS, thanks to the package manager.

Please note that not all OpenTheDoors “OS” branches have the package manager installed.

To remedy this, you need to install it from a .pkg file.

How to install a package with a single command line :

for the pkgadd command, there's an auto-corrector. to be sure you're not mistaken, you can enter the first 5 letters of the package name, and the "pkgadd" package manager will automatically find the package to download and install it.

once the command has been executed, you can use the "list" command to obtain the list of packages.

Repository Packages are ready-to-use packages can be downloaded directly from the pkgadd command

Package File : packagemanager.pkg

info: the package manager may take a little while to find the package, download and install it.

since there is no progress indicator, please wait 10 seconds to make sure the package is installed.

you can then run the list command to get a list of installed packages.

Software dependencies may be necessary to make certain tasks work properly, although many libraries are already included in the native software.
